Zero hours contract is a non-legal term mainly used to describe various types of casual agreements between an employer and an individual.
A zero-hours contract is a different basis of contract where the employer does not guarantee the worker and their work hour. The employer only offers the individual/worker for work when it arises, and the individual/worker can reject either accept the work offered, because if they decide not to accept the offer of work on that time they can leave the work with permission. A person will always get benefit from the employment rights associated in the organization with their employment status and term & condition on a zero hours contract and it will show the employment status of a worker or employee. Zero hours contracts provide flexibility time for both the party employers and worker. They should not be considered as a second party to the proper business planning and it should not be used as a permanent arrangement.

Sometimes zero hours contracts might not be appropriate if the job offered by the company it means the worker will work regular hours over a continuous period of time. For example, if a worker is asked for their flexible time from 9 AM to 1 PM, also for their convenient day from Monday to Wednesday, it indicates that it will be a more suitable offer that worker accepts the permanent part-time contract.
Zero hours contracts do not allow to every employer to avoid their responsibilities for their company. All employer, staff & worker are regardless of their work. They are entitled to employment rights and should be treated fairly for their contract.

Zero hour contracts provide workers stability & their satisfaction. employers are not allowed to provide zero hours for workers and they can simply choose not to give any hours to the individual. and just because the employer has not provided any reason does not mean that you cannot ask for your behalf- this is most important that your employer may be honest with you and they will able to tell you everything how likely it is that they will require you to work in the future. If they will not require to work in the number of hours that you need to provide a good reason to decrease your hours and converted into flexible hours.
